HP TURBO JET UV (HP TJ8500).
It is the fastest UV digital press on the market. At highest print quality mode, 600 dpi, we can print 2,200 sq ft per hr ~ that's about 510 22"x28" posters per hour!!! (we can print up to 4,400 sq ft per hr!)
How this press works: it operates utilizing a roll to sheet format. Sound unusual? It begins with a back feed roll of media, cuts it to a max. sheet size of 65"x145", wraps it around a print drum, then outputs a beautifully printed sheet on the front end. It is a UV 6-color press ~ CMYK + Lt Cyan + Lt Magenta for optimal gradations and skin tones. It can print on materials up to 18pt/.020 thick.
How this will benefit you: we have bridged the gap between deciding whether your print run would be more cost effective to run screen-print vs. digital. We have made it a faster, less expensive option for your short to medium run 4-color process projects on rolled substrates such as banners, pressure sensitive vinyl's, static clings, 100# enamel, 12 and 18pt board, polystyrenes and rigid vinyl's up to .020.
