Shop, dine, grab a latté, pick up some fresh flowers… and you might as well participate in a wine tasting or attend a cooking class while you are at it. What’s not to like about all these great amenities popping up at your local supermarket? As the busy modern shopper is evolving, grocery stores are also evolving to accommodate their shopper’s needs for a convenient and comfortable experience. We are seeing many grocery stores creating in-store cafés, coffee spots, and gathering places where groups of people can meet, have a bite to eat, and maybe even learn something by watching a demo, discussing a recipe, or watching the “big game”.
