As customer expectations around convenience and comfort evolve, GoCo set out to modernize its stores to better reflect its brand values: clean, safe, and friendly spaces that enhance every stop along the journey. Solution
The GoCo remodel focused on clarity, simplicity, and brand reinforcement. Key elements included:
- Interior Transformation: The new design reduces visual clutter, letting merchandise take center stage and creating harmony with co-branded spaces. The color palette utilizes crisp whites, blacks, and neutral tones, with strategic green accents carrying GoCo’s brand presence throughout the store. Small, busy tiles were replaced with calm gray flooring; loud, patterned walls were exchanged for clean white. This minimalist approach fosters a welcoming, streamlined environment that naturally guides the customer journey. KDM assisted with sourcing and managed installation to realize the design vision.
- Architectural Elements: KDM provided elements with natural wood finishes — like maple-slat acoustic soffits and floating shelves — to bring warmth and softness. New cashwraps feature a polished, minimal design, with subtle downlighting to draw attention to impulse goods.
